2026 Canadian Trapshooting Championships

The 2026 Canadian Trapshooting Championships will be hosted by the Edmonton Gun Club in Edmonton, Alberta. The Championship program runs from Thursday, June 25 to Sunday, June 28 and a warmup day is being planned for Wednesday, June 24.
This year's shoot is brought to you by the Canadian Trapshooting Association, the Edmonton Gun Club, the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the Alberta Provincial Trapshooting Association, and generous shoot sponsors.

CTA Annual General Meeting
Please note that the CTA Annual General Meeting Notice printed in the program is incorrect. Please disregard.
The CTA Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026 and will be held in the Edmonton Gun Club clubhouse. The meeting will start at the conclusion of the Handicap event and shoot-offs.

Event 7: Canadian Singles Championship (200 16 yard targets)
Day 4 - Sunday, June 28
Event 8 Canadian Doubles Championship (50 pair Doubles)
Event 9: Canadian Handicap Championship (100 Handicap targets)
Event 10: Canadian High All Around (400 Targets - Events 7, 8 and 9)
Event 11: Canadian High Over All (1000 Targets - Events 1 -9)
CTA 2026 Classification and Handicapping
CTA Delegates will be the primary classification and handicapping contacts. Representatives from the Edmonton Gun Club and Alberta Provincial Trapshooting Association will assist.
In an effort to make the shoot entry process quicker and easier, a new procedure will be in place this year.
- Shooters that presquad for the shoot will be classified after presquadding closes
- When presquadding please select your Special Category (Lady I, Lady II, Junior etc) if you are eligible
- At the shoot, please check the Classification sheets in the clubhouse and registration areas for your Classification
- If you are content with the classification please proceed to cashiering
- If changes are required, please see the CTA Delegates on the Classification desk
