The 2025 Canadian Trapshooting Championships returns to the Hamilton Gun Club in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The Championship program runs from Thursday, June 26 to Sunday, June 29.
This year's shoot is brought to you by the Canadian Trapshooting Association, the Hamilton Gun Club, the Ontario Provincial Trapshooting Association, the Amateur Trapshooting Association, and the generous shoot sponsors.

SHOOT HIGHLIGHTS
- presquadding opens May 3 on presquad.com
- the club's practice traps will be open on Wednesday, June 25
- the shoot registration desk will open on Wednesday, June 25 from 12pm - 6pm
- a limited number of factory ammunition will be available on site
- the CTA annual general meeting will be help after Event 8 in the HGC east side pavilion
- a BBQ Dinner will be served after Event 7. Pre-purchase your tickets by June 20. See details in the shoot program.

The $4000 Canada Cap Challenge is a go again this year!

Canada Cap Challenge Rules
- No Entry Fee.
- Purse Cash Prize: $4000.
- The Canada Cap Challenge will be held in the Canadian Trapshooting Association Preliminary Handicap (Friday’s Handicap).
- The top 5 Ontario resident scores will determine Team Ontario.
- The top 5 non-Ontario resident scores will determine the All Provinces Team.
- The team with the highest combined score will be declared the Canada Cap Challenge Champions and reserve all bragging rights associated with the title.
- The Canada Cap Challenge Champions will split the Canada Cap Challenge Purse evenly.
- A tie will be resolved by a carry-over of all team members in the Canadian Handicap Championship.
- Shooters involved in a carry-over will shoot the Canadian Handicap Championship event from their current assigned yardage.
- The carry-over will be based on each sub event (25 targets) and continue until the tie is broken.
- A tie existing after the completion of the Canadian Handicap Championship will be determined by a shoot-off until a winning team is determined.
- The Canada Cap Challenge Committee will oversee the Canada Cap Challenge. All decisions are final.

2025 Ontario ATA Provincial Trapshooting Championship
Interested in an extended trapshooting visit to Ontario? The Ontario Provincial Trapshooting Championships will be held at the St. Thomas Gun Club just a few days after Canadian Trapshooting Championships from July 2 - July 6. The St. Thomas Gun Club is located just an hour west of the the Hamilton Gun Club in St. Thomas, Ontario.
